Regarding the Team RF Hawaii shirts. Our own Tanner Nakasone designed it. He definitely got some skills.

i know that was the first think that came to my mind....i like dat shirt HCA audio on one sleeve and rockford on the other and then the Team RF hawaii one on the back....SOLID!

finally got to my laptop so i can thank everyone that came out to wizard's comp. wether you competed or just watched, all of the interest helps events like this become bigger and better the next time around. really nice to see various shop owners and staff come and support.

first of all, hilo has some of theee nicest people i've ever met. jeff and the crew from wizard hooked us up real nice. let us build a box, set us up with all the equipment down to the wires and never flinched when we asked for a tool. even had one of the boys go to homo depot and get me a router bit. mean. is eviljettaway still banned?

stacey and the crew at audio innovations welcomed us with open arms. nevermind that we showed up at their shop after midnight and just introduced ourselves. after party was real good. even busted out a grill and had some awesome grinds. when you guys come down, newcastle's on me. when this shop opens, watch out. they got the equipment, know how and expertise to give you what you need and more. they just need a new fence.

even though we didn't get to kevin's shop, we did get to meet him and marc. nice guys too. marc helped us with getting the car from servco. dd representing hard from impact.

all in all, the competitors, shops and crowd was friggin awesome. i wouldn't hesitate to go back again. all the guys from honolulu that came down to show support, much respect as well (tanner, kendal and jen, myron and deanna lei, blake, kealii, and georgia).

How's this one. My good friend that I was hanging with up here has a T20001BD that needs repair. Instead of him paying for shipping, I offered to take it (carry on). The security bugged out and after I simply explained it's a car stereo amplifier, they still held a little meeting as to whether or not to allow it on the plane. Even after they ran it through the machine twice. Even had one guy tell me he knows about car stereos, and amps aren't that big or heavy. He got more nuts when I said you should see the T40001. Auwe, good fun. Had a great time. Mahalo Hilo guys

Yup times change. Also I just realized I'm leaving Hilo without hitting up vernas for one double chicken loco moco. Dammm

crap we never get to eat the chicken loco. according to ^^huilahonui, it's the best chicken katsu in the universe. mind you he went all around the milky way, all the way up to uranus, came back and stands by verna's as the best in the universe. never mind, hilo, hawaii, us, world, it's the best in the UNIVERSE. statement of the night at audio inovations after comp get together. hilarious.

I would just like to give a bif Mahalos to the everyone up in Hilo!!! we had a good time. thanks to Jeff and the crew at CD wizards for helping us out and letting us borrow some shop time and space. very nice shop!! thanks to marc and kev for helping us get our car and to the airport....did we mention we gotr there in time, the plane was waiting for us.... thanks to stacey for showing us his shop and the great hospitality at the after party, had a blast and the food was awesome, compliments to your chef!!! took some pics of the shops, didn't get a chance to take pics at impact, but got a few at audio innovations and cd wizards. biggest mahalos to everyone up in Hilo, everyone was sooo cool, and was so hospitable!!! would gladly come up again!!

btw, sorry to my gang(tanner and phil) was kinda my fault that I broke out, had adjusted the fader ealier when we were driving around so that the bass wasn't as strong, forgot to turn the fader back and thats why was so soft, had to turn the volume louder and thats when it jumped up... i had lots of fun though and look forward to you guys coming here to any future comps....
