for not its not... i do have another setup that is in my brothers blazer... possibly will be selling my last sundown 1500 and an 4 channel us amps but it wont be til summer time... as far as my z1 is concerned i'm gonna hold on to it... had to really scrape funds for that one so i'll let that collect dust for now. if i do have off that day and get to come up i will have the z1 in my car though... currently its running at 750 watts @ 4 ohm

I know I'll have everything ready for this one. I don't think I'm going to be representing my new sub well though. I have to figure out a way to make a bigger box fit in my trunk. my current box is just to small. But I'll be there with my new sub for sure...cant wait to see some of the other systems.

Great opportunity here for ANYONE and EVERYONE to come and get metered.

:thumbsup4: :thumbsup4: :thumbsup4: :thumbsup4: :thumbsup4: :thumbsup4:

Very casual and laid back metering session. No need be nervous about competing or shame about what numbers you post! Great chance to test and tune also. Just come on by and get metered!

I'm used to guys coming in asking buy 8g to power their 2k watt amps. I was stoked when they were actually asking about it for speaker wire!

Electrical doesn't make a difference, right? Who needs alternators, extra batteries or big 3's. It's 8 gauge to Stetsom 11,000 FTW! :wrench:

C'mon. . . . . .It'll work. . . . . . .Once. . . .

Sound offs and metering sessions are the best way to get free advice on your system. Simple things we might overlook or maybe haven't experienced yet.

Even if you don't have sounds or think yours can't compete come hang out and maybe learn a lil- something-something

i thought the bigger the number for the wire, the bigger the size? ex. 28 gauge is bigger than 8 gauge? or is it like shotguns, 12 gauge bigger than 20 gauge? can someone knowledgeable :sos: me out?

:teasing:

Yea it's kinda like shotguns the "smaller" number the better. Like 10ga wire is pretty small, can be used up to maybe 300 watts or so, where as 4ga is decent sized and can be used for around 1k watts. Once you get to 0 gauge, it starts to add more zeros, so 1/0 is equivalent to 00, 2/0 is equivalent to 000, and 4/0 is equivalent to 00000.
